Opening Hours/Visit

The cell complex of the Prison Gate Museum can only be visited as part of a guided tour. Our guides gladly tell you about life in the prison, famous prisoners, escapes and the history of punishments of the last centuries. Because we show instruments for punishments, the Prison Gate Museum is not suitable for children under the age of 9 years old.

Tours starts every hour, starting at 10.45 (during the weekend at 12.45).
An English spoken tour starts every sunday at 2.15 p.m. (during Hague schoolholidays an English spoken tour starts every day at 2.15 p.m.)
No reservation needed.
