Walks
A stroll though times gone by. Come and join us as we cross the Binnenhof, walk along the Hofvijver and head to the Lange Voorhout.
“Mediaeval Castles”
On this walk, you will explore the Binnenhof as it would have been centuries ago: as the court of the Counts of Holland, surrounded by canals and walls containing three entrance gates.
“Seven Centuries of the Binnenhof”
The appearance of the Binnenhof changed time and again over the course of seven centuries. On this walk, you will follow its (construction) history, from country residence to centre of government.
“The Hague has spoken”
The development of the administration of justice began at the court of the Counts of Holland. On this walk, you will visit sites that contributed to this development and hear the stories behind them.
“Via The Hague’s Palaces”
The aristocracy was keen to live close to the Binnenhof, the centre of power. This walk will take you via some of The Hague’s splendid palaces.
